Traditional Thai Massage

Thai massage is a system of massage and assisted stretching developed in Thailand, and influenced by the traditional medicine systems of India, China, and Southeast Asia.

This form of bodywork is often performed on the floor, and the client wears comfortable clothes that allow for movement. The massage therapist uses his palms, elbows, knees, and feet to perform the massage.

Very similar to Shiatsu, Thai Massage involves pressure points. Unlike Shiatsu, Thai massage involves a lot of body stretching.

Often mistaken for Yoga Massages, the client will be positioned in many positions and stretches.

Normally it is done oil-less, but for more comfortability, Thai massage can be performed with oils using reflexology massaging techniques.
