About Me
My name is Sean Michael, I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2006.
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I came to Hawaii at 16 years old and finished my education here in Hawaii. I then completed by Bachelor of Science at UH Manoa with the intention of becoming a Psychiatrist. However, tuition was high and I wanted to find a faster way to pay back my debt, I then took classes to become a massage therapist.
After 2 years, I graduated from a private massage Academy School in Honolulu and did more internship directly with UH Manoa under Kinesiology and medical.
I completed my massage education in the summer of 2005.
I have been practicing massage therapy for the past 18 years. I am fully licensed and certified by the state board of Hawaii since 2006.
Upon my travels, I have also taken classes in Japan, Thailand, China and recent nepal (tibetan). You can see my wall of licences and certification in my treatment rooms.

Experiences:
18 years fully licensed as a massage therapist.
1,000 hours of training in advance Shiatsu in Tokyo, Japan.
1,000 hours of training in traditional thai massage in Chiangmai, Thailand.
1,000 hours of training in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi in Honolulu, Hawaii
1,000 hours of training in deep tissue back kinesiology at UH Manoa
1000 hours of training in the art of tibetan TANTRIC massage in Nepal.

Specialty:
I specialized in deep tissue massage and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. However, I do also give different tyes of modalities of massages and continues in my training of learning new massage techniques from different cultures.
Back injuries and Shoulder pain is my specialties.
I like to keep myself active and spend most of my time outdoors or at the gym. It is how I keep myself strong to allow myself to continue my long hours of massage/


Favorite Hobbies: Gym and Travels
If you follow my social media pages links you will certainly see that I do a lot of traveling. I've been to many parts of the world and I am still inspired to travel to new places every so often. I share my posts on social media and sometimes even offer guidance to travels and tips and tricks.
Beside traveling, I am almost a very dedicated avid gym rat. I often spend longer hours at the gym focusing on my body. I believe the body is very important. I am not trying to get a 6 pack or just to look "hot". I am rather trying to strengthen my core and better my health and stamina; to perform better as a human being.
